Effective December 31, 2024, all outdoor light bulbs in Park City and unincorporated Summit County must be 3,000 degrees Kelvin or less and all outdoor lighting fixtures must be fully shielded and downward facing.

If you are unsure whether or not your HOA exterior lighting/sconces comply, you can send a photo of your fixture to darkskies@summitcounty.org. For several of our communities, we only had to change out the bulbs and not the entire fixture.
